Daniella Levine Cava

Mayor of Miami-Dade County

Daniella Levine Cava was elected Miami-Dade County's first-ever woman Mayor in November 2020. She enters the Mayor's office following a 40-year career as a relentless advocate for South Florida families in public service and elected leadership.
As Miami-Dade County's Mayor, she oversees a metropolitan government with nearly30,000 employees serving nearly 3 million residents, managing an annual budget of approximately $10 billion.

Shari R. Bower

Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta 

Shari Bower is the regional executive at the Miami Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. She is responsible for the Atlanta Fed's Regional Economic Network (REIN) for south Florida and is a member of the core group of Atlanta Fed leaders advising on monetary policy. Her work with business executives and community leaders in the branch's 13-county area helps to bring business insights to national monetary policy deliberations. Shari also oversees the Miami Branch's board of directors and the District's Advisory council on Travel.

As Executive Vice President of The Ferber Company, Patrick is responsible for new project origination and oversight in South Florida including sight selection, contract negotiation, leasing, entitlement and construction. This includes capital allocation, consultant hiring, project budgeting, timeline management, and project delivery. Patrick has developed or redeveloped retail projects throughout South Florida over the past 20+ years that include drugstores, gas stations, fast food and traditional grocery anchored shopping centers. David Sacks

David Sacks is a partner with the Miami law firm of Duane Morris He practices in the areas of real estate, land use, zoning, and environmental law.

Mr. Sacks provides legal advice for the negotiation and structuring of major land acquisitions, determination of zoning and property rights and entitlements, and due diligence analysis for complex commercial and residential real estate acquisitions including the securing of required development permits and approvals. Stacy has worked for the Florida Department of Transportation since 1991. She joined the agency in District Four as a Professional Engineer Trainee specializing in PD&E and Roadway Design. After working as an in-house design engineer for several years, Stacy transitioned to Consultant Management as a project manager and section leader.

Zach Thomas

NFL Hall of Famer

Our keynote speaker at this years NAI Florida Forum, Zach Thomas is part of the newest Pro Football Hall of Fame class, inducted this August in Canton, Ohio. Thomas is one of the greatest Miami Dolphins of all-time and was selected to the team’s Ring of Honor in 2012. The seven-time Pro Bowler was also a first-team All-Pro five times. With over 1,700 career tackles, Thomas is the Dolphins all-time leading tackler and ranks sixth in NFL history. In Miami, he became a fan favorite for his hustle and journey from fifth round pick to NFL star. Thomas was an impact player right off the bat, earning AFC Defensive Rookie of the Year honors in 1996. At Texas Tech, he was a two-time All-American and unanimous selection his senior year. Thomas was also the Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 1995. He and his brother Bart were both named to the first team All-SWC team in the same season. The College Football Hall of Fame inducted Thomas in 2015.
